Tottenham and Liverpool on the verge of missing out on long term target

Liverpool and Tottenham target Youri Tielemans is close to joining AS Monaco. Reports from Belgium are claiming that the French outfit are continuing negotiations with the player.

Youri Tielemans has attracted the interest of several top European teams this season. His performances have seen him captain Anderlecht at the tender age of 19.

The midfielder is Monaco’s number one transfer target, as they plan to add him to their exciting team of youngsters that has taken Europe by storm this season.

In addition to wearing the captain’s arm band in their match against Manchester United, Tielemans has made over 160 appearances for the club since he broke into the first team, he has also played three times for the Belgium national team.
