Tottenham are more attractive to players than Arsenal claims former Gunners legend
According to Arsenal legend Ian Wright, his former team are one of the most unattractive big teams in Europe and would struggle to sign star players this summer.
With the future of Arsene Wenger, and star players, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez uncertain, Wright believes the Gunners have lost their star appeal and players would rather go to their rivals, including Tottenham, if they are interested.
Arsenal will be very busy in this upcoming transfer window, with many believing it would be their most important window in recent seasons.
The Gunners were lucky to come from behind twice to pick up a draw against Man city on Sunday and may lose Ozil and Sanchez after this season.
Arsenal are now sixth in the league table behind Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City , and Man Utd. Ian Wright believes they are also behind those teams when it comes to players deciding who to join. He believes the club’s season is a disaster and agrees that a major overhaul is needed, adding that Wenger needs to improve on the Calibre of players that he pursues this season.
Wright scored 185 goals in 288 games for the Gunners a record that was broken by Thierry Henry.
