It is being reported that Tottenham are on the verge of completing a big money deal for Bordeaux forward Malcom, according to the latest transfer gossip.
Spurs are apparently very confident that they will complete the buy-to-loan deal before the transfer window closes on January 31st.
The sort of deal that Tottenham are after is to buy the player outright and loan him back to Bordeaux for the rest of the season.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is pushing heavily for this deal and talks have already taken place between the clubs.
Malcom has shone for the Ligue 1 outfit this season scoring seven goals and six assists in 22 appearances, which is not a bad return when playing for a club that is struggling.
Tottenham are renowned for signing young talent and the Brazilian certainly fits the profile and it makes sense that they would want to loan him back this season and have a more experienced player better prepared for next season.
Arsenal were also interested in signing the 20 year old but have now decided to concentrate on more experienced players this winter.
