Tottenham are confident that Dele Alli will remain at White Heart Lane next season. Alli has been linked to many of Europe’s top teams, but is likely going to stay.
Real Madrid and Manchester City are the front runners in pursuit of his signature.
Dele is currently valued at around £60 million, Real Madrid have the cash but are said to prioritising Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and Manchester United’s David De Gea.
Man City are also in the market for reinforcements, but not necessarily a midfielder. They want to strengthen their defence and attack as they already have good players in their midfield. Moreover, Man City know that it would be complicated dealing with Daniel Levy who would be unwilling to sell to a rival.
Tottenham bought Dele Alli for just £5 million from MK Dons, and are certainly going to get at least £50 million if the player moves.
Tottenham are gradually becoming an established top team in England, and are unlikely to sell their star players if they want to keep challenging for major trophies in England.
