Tottenham right back Kyle Walker is very unsettled and it all boils down to a recent row he had with his manager, Mauricio Pochettino, eyes where raised recently when the full back was left out of two very important Tottenham fixtures the past week.
He missed the club’s games against Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinal and the North London Derby against Arsenal last weekend.
Walker and Kieran Trippier have been alternating the right back position this season, but it appears that Pochettino’s preference of Trippier for the big games recently shows who his future first choice is.
Another issue with Walker and Pochettino appears to be his fitness problem. Pochettino does not believe that Walker can play two games in a week without having fitness issues, he also suspects Walker’s attitude in training.
Walker also thinks he should earn more, he signed a new deal last summer that ties him to North London for the next five years, but only earns just below £70,000 per week. He knows he can double his salary if he joins another top team.
Manchester City are believed to be very interested in him, and a move to the Etihad is very possible.
