It is no secret that West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is under tremendous pressure, his job is definitely on the line and a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Tottenham tonight could spell the end.
There are rumours abound about who could replace the Croatian, there has been talk of board meetings, player crisis talks and so on, that the writing is on the wall is a massive understatement.
Even if Bilic somehow manages to get his side to beat their bitter London rivals it is still probably not going to be enough to save his job, too much has gone wrong already and there is little sign that the situation is going to improve.
The West Ham board will not want to provide a manager with winter transfer funds that they have lost confidence in and they will have almost no option but to make a change before January.
Any new manager will also want time to evaluate the team and see who they need to target and that cannot be done on the 1st January, time is required and we are very close to that now.
A defeat tonight and it is very possible and new man will be in charge by the weekend.
