Tottenham interest in AC Milan winger is reportedly strong as concrete, according to the latest gossip from the Italian media.
Calciomercato.com have confirmed reports in the British press claiming that Tottenham is looking to sign the 23-year-old as genuine.
Tottenham did try and sign the Spaniard last summer but their €23 million bid was rejected with the Italians insisting that his release clause is met, which is reported to be between €40 and €50 million.
Suso has only recently extended his contract with the rossoneri but his performances have dropped this season and is no longer seen as an automatic choice.
Milan are themselves struggling in Serie A and if they fail to qualify for the Champions League yet again they will have very little choice but to consider selling some of their star men and Suso is seen as very likely to be offloaded.
It is unlikely that any deal will be agreed in January, however, a lot will depend on the player himself, if he agitates for a move and Spurs are willing to meet the release clause then a deal could easily happen.
