The latest Tottenham transfer gossip has them interested in a move for Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the British press.
Schneiderlin is clearly not in Jose Mourinho plans at Old Trafford and it is no surprised to see him being linked with a move away from Manchester, but Tottenham?
Seems unlikely to be fair, it is easy to understand why this piece of gossip would seem plausible, but there has been zero sign all summer that Spurs are interested in the 26 year old French International.
You have to also question where he would play for Tottenham, his position seems to be suitably filled at White Hart Lane, though an argument can be made for squad depth considering they are in the Champions League this season.
This one just does not feel like it is realistic though, you have to also look at the source, the Daily Mail, hardly the most trusted media outlet and it has not been picked up by any other publication.
You also have to ask, why just Tottenham? if Schneiderlin was available then surely there would be other clubs interested in him, he could do a good job for quite a few clubs.
Going out on a limb, we say this will not be happening.
