Tottenham are trying to take away two key players from Inter Milan. According to reports, they made their first step towards the summer raid last night.

The Italian media are reporting that Spurs had scouts in the stands for Inter Milan’s game with Sampdoria. The scouts where reportedly there just to have a look at Geoffrey Kondogbia and team mate Gerson Murillo.

Mauricio Pochettino is said to have started identifying targets for his team next season and has shortlisted a host of players who he believes can help Spurs challenge both domestically and in Europe. Spurs are likely to play in the Champions League next season and know that they have to strengthen their playing staff if they want to avoid leaving the competition in the group stage like they did this season.

Last night’s game saw some players who have been linked to Tottenham impress, while other had indifferent games. One of Sampdoria’s goals was scored by a Spurs target, Patrik Schick, whose team mate, Lucas Torreira is also a target for Spurs.

Tottenham have also been linked with a move for Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic
