Tottenham Hotspur has received a major boost in their pursuit of a former Liverpool star. The online media are reporting that Mauricio Pochettino is interesting in signing Suso.
The Spaniard was developed at Liverpool academy before he turned down a contract offer from the club in 2015 to sign for AC Milan. He has since become an integral part of the former European champions and has seemed to discover the form that may help him fulfil his early promise.
Pochettino has been looking to sign another young attacking midfielder to add to his team, with links to AS Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as well as Everton’s Ross Barkley, but Suso appears to be an easier alternative to sign.
AC Milan signed him for free and could let him leave for around £15 million, a further boost to Tottenham’s chances is that AC Milan has ruled out selling him to any of their direct rivals.
The new owners are set to take the club back to when it was the dominant club in Italy and would start by stopping other teams from signing their best players.
