Schalke attacking midfielder Max Meyer is reported to be wanted by Tottenham next summer according to the latest transfer gossip coming out of the media.
The German is valued at £38 Million and has been linked with Spurs for some time, though it is a bit surprising to have this piece of gossip surface now when it is not going to happen for at least six months.
Meyer is a highly talented youngster, it is hardly a shock that clubs are reportedly interesting in signing him and Spurs can expect some competition for his signature.
This rumour does, if true, make sense for Tottenham, Meyer would fit in perfectly at White Hart Lane and would probably look forward to a fresh start
If Tottenham meet Schalke’s valuation then it is almost certain that Schalke will reluctantly allow the 21 year old to leave.
Meyer moved to up to the first from Schalke II back in 2013, he has made 111 first team appearances and four international appearances for Germany.
