Tottenham set to hijack rival’s bid to sign Premier League attacker

Tottenham Hotspur is set to do a Manchester United on Leicester City and sign highly rated Nigerian attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho.

The attacker appears to be on his way to the King Power Stadium after Leicester match Manchester City’s £20 million valuation for the attacker. However, Mauricio Pochettino who has been interested in signing the 20-year-old appears to have found the perfect situation to pounce.

Manchester City remains keen on signing Spurs full back, Kyle Walker but the two clubs are far away in terms of their respective valuation with Tottenham refusing to lower their £50 million asking price.

However, Mauricio Pochettino is interested in a player plus cash deal involving Iheanacho.

Iheanacho had a solid breakout season during the 2015/2016 season netting 14 times for the Citizens. But, he had an underwhelming season last year as the arrival of Gabriel Jesus and the form of Sergio Aguero saw him fall down the pecking order at the Etihad.

Still only 20, Iheanacho knows needs to move away from the North East to further his career. © 2017 Frontier Theme
