Tottenham’s good performances this season has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs to their players, many of whom were very outstanding in the just concluded league campaign.
The Lilywhites would expect clubs to circle around White Hart Lane for players like Dele Alli and Harry Kane, but while those two are attracting attention, their playmaker Christian Eriksen is also attracting the interest of the tops teams too.
The Dane assisted with 15 goals last season, and his overall contribution is one of the reasons Tottenham ascended to the second position on the league table. This contribution has seen him linked to the continent’s best teams once again.
The Denmark international has always been in the spotlight, his agent even remarked about the constant speculations linking him with moves every summer. According to him, Eriksen has always been linked with moves to the best teams in the world since he was 15 years old. He, however, reiterated the player’s preference in focusing on his job on the field of play.
Reacting to the reports linking him with a move to Barcelona, Eriksen said he was flattered for a team like Barcelona to want him, but he has no interest in leaving Tottenham for now.
