Tottenham, Stoke and Newcastle still hoping to sign striker
Tottenham and Stoke have reportedly joined Newcastle in a race to sign West Brom star Saido Berahino and have not given up hope that West Brom will sell before the transfer window shuts.
The striker has been wanted by Newcastle for a lot of the current transfer window, but it seems with the deadline looming a race may be underway to see who can secure Berahino’s signature.
Newcastle’s initial offer of £21 Million had been refused by West Brom, which leaves Spurs and Stoke the option to put in a larger bid.
It is believed that Newcastle would consider raising their offer to £25 Million. This would then see a three way transfer battle, with Tottenham possibly with the advantage as Berahino is rumoured to have commented that he wanted a move to White Hart Lane.
