Tottenham are in danger of missing out on PSG full back Serge Aurier despite the French club’s willingness to do business with them.
Spurs have reportedly agreed to sign Aurier for £23 million which favors PSG as they look to clear their wage bill as well as offset some of Neymar’s transfer fees and weekly wage of 500,000 per week.
But Aurier has had his head turned by a chance to join Premier League leaders Manchester United with “Agent Pogba” at the centre of their approach.
Spurs are in dire need of a new right full back after selling Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50 million.
They currently have just Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker-Peters as their only right full back options. But Trippier was at fault for Burnley’s goal on Sunday at it appears Pochetinno wants to give him extra competition.
Aurier is a very athletic right back and he is only been let go because of the arrival of Dani Alves and the need for PSG to balance their books to avoid sanction.
United are also confident that his compatriot Eric Baily would help persuade the defender to reject joining Spurs.
