England trio of Eric Dier, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have reportedly had their heads turned by offers doubling their salary in Manchester.
The trio are very important parts of the Tottenham team that has qualified for the UEFA Champions League for two consecutive seasons now.
Their consistent performances have attracted the interests of several top teams both at home and abroad.
Dier is attracting the interest of Manchester United. The English man is currently valued at £40 million, but Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy would prefer to auction the player as that could drive his transfer fee up. Jose Mourinho is particularly impressed by Dier’s flexibility as he can play in midfield and has equally adapted well when played in central defence.
Kyle Walker looks closer to the exit door than any of the trio, as he has been informed by the club that he can leave this summer. His absence from Tottenham’s FA Cup semi-final match against Chelsea gave the clearest indication that the Englishman is close to leaving the Lane. Man City wants Walker to fill in for the outgoing Pablo Zabaleta.
Danny Rose may not leave this summer, after being told that he would need surgery before he can play football again. Depending on how long his recuperation takes, his suitors might take the risk of signing him.
