Galatasaray star Felipe Melo has revealed he wants to leave Turkey, sparking further rumours he could end up at Arsenal this summer.
The former Mallorca, Fiorentina and Juventus defensive midfielder has only a year remaining on his deal at the Turk Telekom Arena and has been constantly linked with moves away.
After four years in Turkey, Melo has admitted he and his family want a fresh challenge – which could mean a move to England is in the offing.
“My family are not happy in Turkey, they don’t want to stay here. It’s a nice place, but we’ve found it difficult here,” he told Turkish news outlet Hurriyet.
“Before I wear a shirt, my family must be convinced, but if I don’t find an agreement with another club then I’ll stay here.
“As long as I’m here I’ll give everything for this shirt.”
