Chelsea and Manchester City are currently being investigated by FIFA over allegations that they have broken the world football governing body’s rule on the signing of underage players.
FIFA has strict rules for the signing of players under the age of 18 as they look to avoid exploitation as well as human trafficking.
Chelsea was investigated and banned by FIFA over the transfer of Gael Kakuta from Lens after the discovered that Blues had influenced the player to break his transfer with the French club, however, they got their sentence reduced on appeal.
Manchester City claims they have no knowledge of an ongoing investigation and they maintain that all their dealings have been within the law.
Chelsea knows of the ongoing investigations but the blues are confident that they have not done any wrong.
Manchester City is awaiting a verdict from the Court of Arbitration for Sport over their 2016 signing of 16-year-old midfielder Benjamin Garre from Argentine club Velez Sarsfield.
