Turkish giants getting closer to agreeing deal with Arsenal
David Ospina is set to quit the Gunners this season, if reports from turkey are to be believed.
According to Turkish sources, the South American, who has found game time limited by the form of first choice Petr Cech, is likely going to move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce this summer.
It is believed that both teams have agreed a £6 million deal for the player, the move would see him earn at least £40,000 per week.
Ospina had high hopes when he joined the Gunners after an impressive showing at the 2014 World cup, but has failed to cement a place in the club’s starting lineup. He was only used in the club’s Champions League campaign this season, since the Gunners are out of the competition, he is likely not going to play again this season.
With Arsenal undergoing a rebuilding process next summer, it is believed that the Colombian is among the players who will be sold. This is why Fenerbahce have moved in quickly to try to steal the player under the noses of other interested teams.
