Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is wanted by Turkish team, Trabzonspor as a present for the club reaching 50 years. The club will be 50 years old in August. They have been looking for a player that they would sign to commemorate the event, and they believe that Fellaini is the right player.
The Belgian was almost on his way out of Manchester United before the appointment of Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager then declared his love for the big Belgian, following it up with first team opportunities.
Fellaini’s versatility is what is attracting the attention of Trabzonspor. They believe his ability to play in multiple positions will give them an opportunity to switch their tactics when the need arises.
However, it seems that Fellaini is now settled in Manchester after Mourinho activated a clause in his contract that extends his current deal until the summer of 2018. He was awarded the captain armband in United’s 3-0 win over Sunderland, and his manager has continued to sing his praise.
However, he recently let himself down again when he got needlessly sent off in the Manchester derby.
