Chelsea defender Baba Rahman (yes he is still a Chelsea player) is set to end his Blues nightmare after Turkish side Fenerbahce made a move to sign him.
The Ghanaian was one of the first players declared surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte when the Italian was made the manager of the Blues last summer, and he quickly left for Schalke 04 on loan. He made a fine start to his Schalke career, but an injury curtailed his progress and he returned to Stamford Bridge early. He is still recuperating from his injury, but there is no way back into the Chelsea first team for him right now.
Fenerbahce is interested in giving him the opportunity to revive his career outside of the Premiership, but they are not the only team interested in his signature.
Premier League new boys, Newcastle and Brighton have also shown interest in his signature albeit all want to take him on a temporary basis.
Rahman has a long term contract with Chelsea, and the Blues are looking to get him off their book on a permanent basis and will wait to see if any of his suitors would want a permanent move for him.
