There has been some reports which have revealed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he will be looking to bring in another forward this summer, but it will not be to replace Olivier Giroud.
Without another forward, Giroud has been forced to lead the line this summer and he has had his best season in England since arriving at Arsenal with 15 goals in his 34 starts.
However, Wenger admits he has probably played him too much, due to the fact there was little back-up available.
And he has now confirmed another striker will be signed.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “Maybe we have over-played him at some stage.
“There is perhaps room for an attacking player who can play in a different position to Giroud. Someone who can play with him as well.
“But I do not know yet who will be on the market.”
