There has been some reports which have claimed Arsenal have made an offer for Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot, 19, is regarded as one of Europe’s most exciting young talents but the midfielder has been unable to hold down a regular spot for PSG as there are a number of already established big names.
A loan at Toulouse last term aided his development with it thought he would get more opportunities this time around but that has not materialised.
And that has prompted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to make his move, as he looks to add more depth to his already impressive midfield this summer window.
Rabiot’s mother and agent Véronique Rabiot revealed that any offer received from suitors would be judged on its footballing merits.
As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, she said: “We do not make decisions based on financial criteria.
“They are important, of course, but the priority is the sports project.”
