If Mahmadou Sakho is allowed to leave Liverpool this summer, the French defender will not be short of suitors. Sakho has been in great from since joining Crystal Palace in January and has helped the club keep four clean sheets in their last five games.
Before Sakho joined the Eagles there were in a relegation scrap, but since he got into their team, they have been able to secure incredible wins at Stanford Bridge against Chelsea and thumping Arsenal 3-0.
Sakho’s Liverpool career looks to be over after falling out with Jurgen Klopp on multiple occasions. But if the Reds want to sell the player this summer, they will not be short of options.
Crystal Palace have indicated interest in making his loan deal permanent, but they are not the only team watching the Frenchman.
Premier League rival West Brom have entered the fight for the French man’s signature. The baggies tried to sign Sakho last summer, but were unwilling to pay the £20 Million fee slapped on the player by Liverpool. But on the evidence of his current form, they may have to pay more than that to land him.
Tony Pulis believes Sakho can help them enter Europe next season, and is said to have told the club owner to try and sign the defender.
Liverpool will be auctioning Sakho when this season comes to an end, but he may even be signed by a foreign team.
