Premier League sides, West Brom, Leicester City, and Middlesbrough are all tracking Montpellier in-form striker Steve Mounie.
The 22 year old has netted 13 times in 26 league games this season, in what is his best season as a professional.
He is a target for French side Nice who see him as a perfect replacement for Mario Balotelli whose contract expires at the end of the season.
However, sources in France has linked the Benin Republic international to mid- table Premier League sides, Leicester, Middlesbrough and West Brom.
There has been no contract offer from any of the English trio, however if Nice makes their interest official with a bid, it is believed the premier league sides would counter with offers of their own.
Championship side Fulham, have been linked with the striker in the past and other European mid-table teams are said to be scouting the player.
