Former Manchester United striker and Monaco star Radamel Falcao has spoken of joining Chelsea this summer.
The AS Monaco centre-forward is expected to move to Chelsea before the start of next season, after failing to earn a permanent contract with the Red Devils.
Falcao came to England with a reputation as a world class striker, that reputation has taken a massive hit and he will be very eager to prove all his doubters wrong.
Chelsea will no doubt get a player that could be great for them, but only if he reproduces his Manchester United form, if he does not, he could end up being yet another Fernando Torres.
If Falco does not make it work at Chelsea he could find himself on the sidelines, just as he did at United.
And after confirming that he knows about talk of a possible Chelsea move, he has admitted he wants to stay in the Premier League.
“I know it has been speculated very much about Chelsea,” Falcao told El Tiempo.
“I try to stay out of it. I care about working with Colombia for now. That’s what my agent does.
“I would like to continue in the Premier League. My future will be decided in the coming weeks.”
