Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is leaving the German side in the summer, alerting Arsenal, according to the Sky Sports website.
The 43-year-old has been heavily linked with Arsenal in the past but reports this morning suggested he could be on his way to Manchester City as a replacement for Manuel Pellegrini.
Dortmund called a press conference this afternoon and have now confirmed Klopp’s shock exit.
Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said: “We had talks with Jürgen in the last few days and came to the mutual decision that the way will end at the end of the season.
“It has been difficult for us because we have a very special relationship with each other.”
