Chelsea has once again had a massive bid turned down, according to the online media.
Chelsea has reportedly bid a stupendous £73 Million for Juventus star Alex Sandro, but the Italians have dismissed the offer out of hand.
It seems that almost no club is ready to sell their players to Chelsea, no matter the amount that is being offered.
They did manage to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid but he was hardly a first team regular and not what you would describe as a marquee signing.
Chelsea had become used to just turning up with a cheque book and signing almost any player they wanted but those days are clearly over.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte could always turn to his youth set up or even the tens of players that have been loaned out to strengthen his squad but he seems to prefer the tried and tested method of buying success.
The problem with that strategy is that there is vast competition from clubs with even more money to spend and it is now rather obvious that you need to bring through players as well as spending huge amounts of money, a concept that Chelsea has yet to grasp.
As for Sandro, Chelsea will need to look elsewhere, Juventus simply are not going to sell.
