Mexico striker Hirving Lozano has sent Manchester United an informal come and get me plea. The youngster was heavily linked with a move to United last summer, and reports claimed that it was when Jose Mourinho came that United’s interest cooled off, as he was only interested in proven professionals.
Lozano plays for Pachuca and at the age of 21 he is already regarded as one of the hottest players in North America. He plays for the Mexican senior team, and featured in last year’s Copa America, and is in line to play in this year’s Confederations Cup.
Lozano has scored an impressive 15 goals in just 26 games this season. United’s scout, Jim Lawlor who is credited with unearthing Javier Hernandez is said to have been scouting the Mexican since last summer.
The player has revealed that his preferred destination would be Old Trafford should he leave Pachuca. His idols are Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jose Mourinho, and he is said to be keen on making the move to Manchester United before the Swede retires or leaves the Red Devils.
