£20 million Spanish powerhouse ‘set for quick’ summer move to Arsenal

There has been some reports which have claimed Arsenal could try again for Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to the SportsDirectNews website.

The 20-year-old, who only signed for the Ligue 1 giants from Sevilla last summer, has not featured as much as expected so far in his time with the club, and is rumoured to be considering a quick exit in the next transfer window.

Kondogbia has been linked with big names such as Arsenal and Chelsea in the past, and the Gunners will now hope to be the leading contenders for his signature as they eye improvements in midfield.

Arsene Wenger is still believed to rate the player highly, and may now move for him again as Monaco may be open to letting him go.

  1. We need either Bender or Khedira in defensive midfield. Please cut this tendency of Arsenal chasing every player in the world, even sub standard players like Cleverly, Lekaku
