Miralem Pjanic has told Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko that he should leave the Premier Lesgue Champions.
Dzeko often played second fiddle to Sergio Aguero and Alavaro Negredo last season and had to settle for a place on the bench for most of the campaign.
Despite being City’s third choice striker the Bosnian managed to scored 26 goals in 46 appearances for the Premier League champions.
And he has been linked with a summer move away, with Roma one of the clubs that would like to sign him up.
Now Pjanic has urged his team-mate has urged him to make a move to Italy.
As quoted on the Daily Star website, he said: “Dzeko has told me that he likes Italy.
“And I think he would be a coup if we signed him.”
