Napoli striker and Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain has played down reports linking him with a switch to Barcelona this summer.
The 26-year-old, who only moved to Italy from Real Madrid last summer, is currently at the World Cup with Argentina after hitting 17 Serie A goals in his debut season with Napoli.
However, there has been links liking him with a move to Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona, although the Spaniards were leading the chase according to reports.
But he insists that there is no substance to the reports that he is heading to Barca, which will give Chelsea a massive boost in the chase.
As quoted on the Sky Sports website, he said: “I have nothing to say because there has been nothing,” he said.
“I know nothing about Barcelona and I feel good at Napoli. But now, I want to think only about the World Cup.”
