Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has revealed that new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has left the door open for a move to Old Trafford.
The flying Dutchman has been linked with a big time move to United this summer as Van Gaal looks to build a side that is capable of winning back the Premier League title and getting back into the Champions League.
He starts work as boss at Old Trafford this week following the Netherlands’ third place finish at the World Cup.
And Robben revealed after that game that Van Gaal promised the forward there was “always a spot for him” at Old Trafford.
As quoted on the Daily Mirror website, he said: “He said that, right? Yes.”
