Fresh reports have come out and claimed Toulouse fullback Serge Aurier is hoping for a Premier League move.
Arsenal are chasing the defender, as boss Arsene Wenger is looking to replace the departed Bacary Sagna.
Now Aurier’s agent, Stephane Courbis, believes a summer switch is still on the cards for his client after an impressive World Cup campaign.
As quoted on the TMW website, he said: “To Serge, this exhibition was an opportunity demonstrate to interested clubs he has the capacity to evolve to the next level.
“He has not played Champions League or Europa League.
“This was the opportunity for him to strike a blow and to highlight.
“His performances may also justify, given the teams interested in his profile, the consequent fee Toulouse are demanding for the transfer.”
