The agent of Lazio starlet Keita Balde Diao has handed Manchester United a boost by admitting the talented young man wants a move to the Premier League
The Spain-born forward has already managed four Serie A goals, despite starting only six of his 16 league appearances.
And despite the Italians side’s desperation to keep him his representative Ulisse Savini says the youngster could end up in the Premier League in the future.
As quoted on the TalkSport website, he said: “It is normal to receive the attentions of some foreign team every weekend. I know of appreciation, but there has still been no direct contact with me.
“The idea, following the sale of Hernanes, is to exploit the opportunity to follow the Brazilian’s path and become a hub of the team.
“A player like Keita, if he was to leave Lazio, will never find a team that can afford him in Italy. How much is he worth? If I say a price, according to my own judgement, he cannot be worth less than £12.5m.
“I think Keita would play in English football in the future – I can see him much better there than in Germany, for example. And probably in his head, the aspiration of playing in the Premier League is important.”
