Reports have come out and revealed Croatian youngster Mario Pasalic will undergo a medical in May ahead of signing a permanent deal with Chelsea, according to his agent.
Just 19, he has signed a pre-contract agreement to join the Blues on a permanent deal this summer.
The young central midfielder has shone this season for his club, scoring 11 goals in 25 appearances in the Croatian top flight for Hajduk Split.
And according to his agent, Ivica Loncar, Pasalic expects to join Chelsea this summer.
As quoted on the Daily Mirror website, he said: “Mario would like to stay at Hajduk as long as possible, but the contract is signed and we must respect the desire of the club,” said Loncar.
“There is a chance [he will stay at Hajduk], but they are minimal. Mario will be in London at the end of May for a medical examination and then will know more about his future.
“[There are] several interested clubs from Italy, Germany and Spain, and it is possible that the first two weeks of preparation activity will be with Chelsea. But the decision is Jose Mourinho’s.”
