Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is ready to test Inter Milan’s resolve with a bid for Mateo Kovacic, after learning he is unhappy according to the Sky Sports website
It is no secret that Mourinho is keen to add a bit more quality to his squad this summer and have been eyeing up a move for Kovacic for some time.
Kovacic is currently rated as one of the most promising midfielders in Europe, having established himself as a key player for Inter since his switch from Dinamo Zagreb.
However, despite a string of impressive performances, the 19-year-old has been dropped in recent weeks amid claims of a fall out with manager Walter Mazzarri, and a transfer is on the cards.
And his agent, Nikky Vuksan has admitted he is frustrated to not be playing regularly this season.
Vuksan said: “All I can say is that Mateo has a contract with Inter. But of course, he is not happy because he is not playing.”
