Arsenal are lining up a move for Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.
The Italian international is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract with the Serie A giants, leading to much speculation that he could leave the club in the near future.
The 26-year-old looked close to leaving in January, with a whole host of top clubs around Europe hoping to get a deal all wrapped up, but a move never materialised as Milan didn’t get the money they were seeking.
However, the SportsDirectNews website have claimed Arsenal are now set to join the chase, as Arsene Wenger seeks defensive recruitments for the summer.
Thomas Vermaelen is heavily tipped to leave the club and Wenger see’s Ranocchia as a great replacement.
