Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner was pictured watching FC Copenhagen on Sunday, amid reports he was set to sign for the giants.
Bendtner was expected to leave in the January window, but Arsene Wenger was in need of keeping hold and it seemed the Danish international had a second chance at the club.
However, he was fined two weeks’ wages after going home for a boozy night out without club permission, and he is now tipped to leave the club.
And he has fuelled talk of a move to Copenhagen, as he flew home to his native Denmark to watch the giants, according to the Daily Mirror website
He is a free agent this summer and sat next to long term pal Frank Arnesen and the director of FC Copenhagen, Anders Hørsholt.
