Arsenal target Mehdi Benatia will meet with the Roma board to discuss his future, according to the SportsDirectNews website.
The centre-back has enjoyed a superb season prompting interest from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who may be looking for a replacement for Thomas Vermaelen.
And despite Roma’s reluctance to let him leave, he has failed to commit his future to the Serie A club and the player’s agent Moussa Sissoko revealed that several clubs have made contact.
He said: “The leaders at Roma are aware of the fact that other big clubs are interested in Mehdi.
“We’ll have a meeting with the club soon and we’ll see what happens from there. At the moment though, all I will say is that the lad feels very good in Rome.”
