There has been some reports emerge which have claimed Arsenal will be in a summer battle with their London rivals Tottenham for the signature of Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form for Sporting this season, and has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal, as Arsene Wenger looks for a long-term replacement for Thomas Vermaelen.
The Belgian is heavily tipped to leave the club this season having lost his starting spot to Laurent Koscielny.
However, Tottenham are also in the market for new signings at the back, as they face the possible departures of key players such as Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul when the season comes to an end.
And the SportsDirectNews claim both sides will battle it out, as the lad potential is too tempting to turn down.
