Arsenal could make a shock move for in-demand Olympiacos defender Kostas Manolas.
According to reports on the SportsDirectNews, Manolas has captured the attention of Premier League scouts since moving to Olympiakos on a free transfer from AEK Athens in 2012.
Manolas nearly joined Everton at the start of 2012 after AEK agreed a fee with the Toffees, only for the player to decline to opportunity to move.
But Wenger is seeking to renew his interest, as Thomas Vermaelen is heavily tipped to leave the club after losing his spot in the first team.
However, there are so many clubs chasing the 22-year-old, it is hard to know where he will end up next season, but Arsenal are hoping to be able to add him to their squad.
