Arsenal OFFICIALLY announce Bundesliga deal is done and dusted!

Arsenal have come out and announced that Johan Djourou has joined hamburg on a permanent deal.

Djourou joined Arsenal in 2003 as a 16-year-old and made 144 appearances for the first team, though he struggled to nail down a spot in Arsene Wenger’s starting XI in recent seasons. The versatile defender, who featured at both centre-back and right-back throughout his Gunners career, represented Switzerland at the World Cup and will hope to help Hamburg improve on last season’s 16th-placed finish in 2014-15.

As quoted on the Sky Sports website, Arsenal announced: “We can now confirm that Johan Djourou has completed his permanent move to Hamburg.”
