Arsenal on verge of first big capture as talks in process

There has been some fresh reports which have claimed Arsene Wenger is set to land Alvaro Morata in the summer, as long as he and Arsenal agree to a ‘buy-back clause’.

It is no secret that Wenger is keen to add to his front-line this summer and has been heavily linked with a move for Morata, who is rated as one of the best young strikers in the game.

And despite many reports claiming Madrid had no intention of selling, the Daily Mirror website claim the Gunners have held further talks with the Spaniards and remain hopeful about a summer transfer.

Real are now believed to be ready to do business for around £8million, on the condition they can buy Morata back at a fixed price in two years’ time.
