Arsenal target confirms ‘England is my dream’ as Wenger looks to spend

Arsenal target Serge Aurier says he would love a move to the Premier League this season.

The Ivory Coast right-back has reportedly been lined up by Arsene Wegner to replace Bacary Sagna at the Emirates.

However, with the Gunners on the verge of signing up Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle, he may no longer be needed for a few years.

But the 21-year-old has admitted he would move to England in a heartbeat.

As quoted on the Metro, he said: “People say that there was an agreement for me to join Arsenal, that I had already signed.

“That is not true. All that I can say is that England is the league I like the most. Things are clear. I have always preferred a move to England, because it is the league that suits me the best.

“At the moment, I have not given my agreement to any club, whoever they might be and am therefore free to talk to whoever I want.

“To play in England is my dream, but sometimes dreams do not come true.”

  1. why not aurier and debuchy together. they have contasting styles of atteck and defence and with jenkinson we would never have to worry about whos playing right back . a small price to pay for piece of mind .

  2. this would give us all kind of options ,like three at the back with pacey wingers to fall back making a back five when needed.and five in mid field going forward ,and we just happen to have three rather good center backs already .
give us good width as well.
