There has been some reports which have claimed West Ham United could be an option for Arsenal outcast Nicklas Bendtner
Although Bendtner looked close to leaving the club last summer, Arsene Wenger’s failure to sign another player upfront meant the Danish international was kept as a backup to Olivier Giroud, though he has still barely featured for the Gunners this term.
Bendtner has shown himself to be a capable Premier League player though, and a West Ham insider has revealed that Sam Allardyce is ready to give him a chance to prove himself next season by offering him a contract in the close-season.
The Hammers have been short of options upfront this season due to main striker Andy Carroll missing so much of the year through injury, and Allardyce is keen to have other options to pick from in his squad. (SportsDirectNews)
It would not be a shock to see this happen.
