Arsenal to sign up Bundesliga ace as Sporting Director confirms star ‘wants to definitely leave’

Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed goalkeeper and Arsenal target Marc-Andre ter Stegen will join a foreign club in the summer.

Gladbach have announced that a deal is in place for the 21-year-old stopper to leave the Bundesliga at the end of the season, but are yet to confirm which side he will join.

Barcelona are keen to fill the void when Victor Valdes leaves in the summer, while the Arsenal are looking to add competition for Wojciech Szczesny between the sticks.

“After Marc-Andre ter Stegen informed us that he definitely wants to leave at end of season, we have now reached an agreement with his new club on the transfer arrangements,” Borussia sporting director Max Eberl confirmed.

“He will move abroad.” (Daily Express)

It will be very interesting to see just where he ends up
