Shkodran Mustafi is reportedly interesting Liverpool.
The 21-year-old former Everton defender was called up by Germany coach Joachim Low for his country’s friendly with Chile next Wednesday.
Mustafi was previously at Everton, working under now Manchester United boss David Moyes before being released on a free in 2012.
He was taken on by Serie A team Sampdoria where he has established himself in the team and has made 41 appearances with some solid displays.
German daily Der Spiegel speculates that Liverpool are keeping tabs on the player as Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen in the summer. The Reds will face competition from Genoa and Hamburg for the player. (SportsDirectNews)
