Big man confirms he will make move to London as Chelsea boss keen to get deal done

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba said he will return to London to live once his career is over

The big man said he could have stayed on at Chelsea after the victorious Champions League final in 2012 but he was unable to reach an agreement with the club.

However, a deal was not made and he moved to China before signing for Turkish club Galatasaray.

But the 36-year-old is intending to return to London once his career is finished.

As quoted on the SportsDirectNews website, he said: “I will live there after my career. My children grew up in London, they like it there. When I think at first I was depressed seeing the low sky, night falling fast and the grey.

“The first two seasons, I was always saying I’m tired, I cannot adapt, I want to go. In the end, I was hooked and gave it my all.”
