Arsenal are hot on the heels of MK Dons’ teenage sensation Dele Alli.
The Gunners have a habit of scouting the best young talent in the game and then buying them so no other club can, and that seems to be the case again with Alli.
The 18-year-old is already rated as one of the best prospects in the country after representing England at under-17s level.
He has been compared to Liverpool legend ‘Steven Gerrard’ and Arsenal are looking to win the race and hopefully turn him into the superstar many have tipped him to become.
And boss Karl Robinson admits that Alli was always set to attract major interest from the country’s top teams.
As quoted on the Daily Express website, he said: “I’ve said from the word go, he’s as good as it gets and he’s the best young player I’ve ever worked with.”
